Hi all,

To coincide with the release of Wyatt's new album, I've extended my Wyatt pages. To those who haven't had the chance to see/hear the new album, I've included some art sleeves, lyrics, credits and more.

Any help with various press cuts from different countries will be greatly appreciated  - for the press part of the Shleep web-pages.

Hi A!

Just come back to an avalanche of e-mail. I have been in Paris with Pip.... Songwriting...... He's here in London next week to finish the very last bit on his CD..... I even saw the cover!!!

He also has given us; at MUSART; 5 copies of the original CD pressing of Equipe Out's "UP" -  (with a simple outer; but signed personally by him). These will sell out pretty quickly, so if anyone wants to reserve a copy; write to Yvonne to order it! ( sales@musart.net )
                               ***SPECIAL OFFER £10 + P&P***

MASHU are just winding up for the Concert in Lille Prison..... I'm looking forward to our 'captive' (sic.) audience!!!
When Soft HEAP played at Ferme Nord (the main French Borstal/Reform school) there was an audience of 5-600 kids. I believe that Lille Prison has 2-3000 adult inmates... So it should be LOUD!!!
Check out the Soft HEAP Ferme Nord story
The promoters are also trying to get a concert organised in the town (Lille) too; for either the day before or on the evening of the 5th November...

The MASHU concert in Paris (6th Nov.) will be on a boat moored just on the
left bank of the Seine, right underneath the dome of Notre Dame Cathedral.
(easy to find! & the gig was GREAT last time we played there....)

Little known fact
-----
Pip's very first Professional engagement playing Drums was when he was 15
years old with Steve and Phil Miller in Old Harlow with the Harlow poets....
........He even remembered the names of the Poets who recited! Neat eh!
-----
Starting work on REBELA again tomorrow after a few days off! -Keith Missile is coming over, and Rick Biddulph will be here next week; its Bassically bass players at the moment! John Greaves will be in town soon too! Still on schedule for a Christmas finish!

Dear All,

The following is a message from Daevid. The enclosures are the same thing
but laid out as he wanted. I have included the text here in case you have
difficulty with the enclosure. If you know anyone who you feel should get
involved at this very early stage please pass this message on. If you do
need to print the message out please try and use Daevid's version.

Hope to see you soon, all the best.

message from daevid

hullo everybody!

1997 completes a three year GONG touring cycle covering UK, ireland,
scotland, france, italy, germany, belgium, holland, austria, japan,
canada and the US which has explored the classic gong music from the
1972-74 radio gnome trilogy era played largely by those who composed it.
This energetic tourplan has appropriately fruited with the beautiful
YOU:REMIXES cd.
Just in case you havent heard, this is a double cd of contemporary dance
& ambient tracks based on & inspired by that original body of work
by the pick of the 90's remix artists.
So whats next?
In 1998/9 i believe its time to bring a fresh direction created by  the
same original GONG musicians.

I propose
the first of a series of new cd's to be recorded during the three weeks
preceding the
march full moon
to be followed
by
a season of seven full moon celebratory rituals
from april thru october
 to be known as:

2
the
 path of seven moons
a travelling festival of fooles
futuring
a total of six hours of live playing from
GONG & KANGAROO MOON
plus a further six hours of DJ's, lightshows, installations & events
& a powerful shamanic group ritual
at the exact time of full moon.
ok?
Each full moon ritual will have its own theme & symbolic keynote and will
be preceded by
a
seven day intensive spiritual/creative/music/performance workshop wherein
participants will be guided on a shamanic self initiatory path to
overcome individual limitations and achieve total involvement with the
full moon ritual
as the completion of their initiatory experience.
These seven day workshops will be costed to cover expenses and kept as
low priced as possible for maximum accessibility.

I project that
we will be working and performing in a magnificent portable cone shaped
temple of light circled by seven large tipis.
(Any suggestions as to designer builders? So far: irish steve, bill
harkin)
These will be located in beautiful natural power sites in cornwall,
someret, ireland, france, scotland, wales and near london.
(Keith sez: I should find private sites and start work on licenses asap)

I project that
we will live in a large coach and or camper vans and or tents on site for
the week leading up to the full moon ritual day.

I propose that
The workshops will be facillitated overall by myself (daevid) but totally
open to the contributing ideas & involvement of all band & crew members
for which payment will be negotiable.

So, to sum up, in 1998/9, i propose that
after a successful three week album creative burst in march, this is the
way i propose we spend one intense inventive week of each subsequent
month together, teaching, enjoying & inspiring each other and building a
luminous path of magnetic positivety & hope toward the millenium
Are you ready for a new adventure?
It won't be the same without you!

& finally in profound gratitude
for these thoroughly enjoyable and ceaselessly creative three touring
years i want to thank gilly, didier, steffy, pierre, pip, mike, keith,
orlando, akiko & yum yum, david id, brian zero, satch, spike jones, rob,
and neil for sharing in the creative fun on stage.
Then of course massive thanks to jonny
the foundation rock for holding it all down and to Keith for providing
secure & efficient tours & income and to Shawn for his limitless
positivety, sense of fun and skilfully adventurous safaris into the
unpredictable moonscapes of previously unconquered territories.
Finally warm hearted thanks to Lily, Bean, Sami & everyone who has helped
keep this show on the road.
onwards & outwards
love & hugs
daevid
